Kidding aside, this certainly doesn't kill the argument against free will. Where is the 'you' outside of the physics of your wet, insanely complicated computer?

Thank you for reading. I talk about free will in the sense more about agency over ones entire self. The free will of the metaphysical where somehow we are knowing subjects acting upon the universe that is outside of us is of course an illusion. The idea of something like choice in a causal universe is just absurd. We are not outside the world observing, even the concept of self is an illusion.

Got it. I think I have a problem with 'agency' and all it implies, but I agree with you re: the concept of self being an illusion, yet I continue to look for ways to refute it , and extinguish the uneasiness it carries.
